May 2011 -- Honnen Salt Lake City Open House and Customer Appreciation Days
In celebration of its first two years of operation in Salt Lake City, Honnen Equipment welcomed over 600 guests during a two-day open house featuring the Chatterbox in its first post-ConExpo appearance. The open house included an equipment rodeo, operator training simulators, food, and prizes. In between these activities, many customers took advantage of the Chatterbox to give us some valuable feedback. We wouldn’t be celebrating 48 years in business if we didn’t listen to their customers. The Chatterbox provides Honnen and Deere one more tool with which to continue the tradition.

October 2010 -- Honnen becomes authorized dealer for JLG Telehandlers
We are excited to announce that Honnen Equipment Co is now an authorized JLG Telehandler dealer for the western slope of Colorado. The JLG Telehandler product line is an excellent addition to Honnen Equipment’s top notch product offerings that we currently have to offer. Honnen Equipment will continue to represent the Lull telehandler line as well, for all of Colorado & Wyoming. The Lull product line does not have a telehandler larger than the Lull 1044C-54 which is a (10,000 lb machine). The energy sector, including wind, oil, and gas, currently is demanding a larger telehandler than the 10,000 lb size class Honnen currently offers. JLG offers a 12,000 lb telehandler with the JLG G12-55A. We have ordered several new JLG G12-55A machines that are due to arrive in Grand Junction January 2011.
